Nestled amidst the endless beaches and wild seas with Table Mountain as its awe-inspiring backdrop, this coastal home captures the essence of Luxury coastal living. Designed to embrace the dynamic nature of its location, the home reacts to the elements – whether the winds that blow you indoors or the breathtaking sunsets that draw you out.
The architectural vision was brought to life by Darryl Croome Architects, creating a home that not only endures but flourishes in the South African climate.

Darryl Croome Architects were responsible for the structure, finishes, and bespoke joinery, while StudioLandt layered a distinct touch with feature textured walls, integrated headboards, and custom-designed furniture pieces.
Each element was tailored specifically for the home’s unique layout, creating a seamless balance between architecture and interior design.
A muted colour palette was chosen to allow the textures of the materials to take centre stage.
Custom carpets anchor the spaces, while the careful selection of timber, stone, and textiles create a harmonious and luxurious atmosphere. Striking custom-designed features further elevate the design, seamlessly blending with the home’s overall aesthetic.

From the moment you enter, a striking concrete staircase that captures attention a sculptural focal point that sets the tone for the spaces beyond. As you journey through the home, the ever-changing interplay of natural light becomes a defining experience, shifting throughout the day and transforming the atmosphere from morning through to evening. Sunlight filters through the interiors, casting dramatic and mesmerising shadows that animate the architecture and bring the spaces to life.
This project is also a celebration of true collaboration between architect and interior designer. Guided by a shared vision, the teams worked seamlessly together to create a home that feels both refined and deeply authentic.
